Chairlift

The only chair lift in the Grand Duchy allows the tourists to get from an altitude of 220 to 440 m and to enjoy a gorgeous panorama over the romantic Our Valley.

Checkout is closing 30 minutes before closing time and the last ride from the Mountain station is 20 minutes before closing time! In case of extremely bad weather or thunderstorms, we reserve the right to stop the operation of the chairlift! No refunds will be issued.

Fishing

Fishing licences are issued at the tourist office in Vianden. Here you can buy a fishing licence to fish in Vianden or a fishing licence to fish in the Our reservoir.

If you want to fish in Vianden, you will also need to apply online for the border water permit (click here), as the Our flows along the German border. Within 15 minutes you will have a PDF document of your border water permit on your smartphone.
